'Glee' said goodbye to Finn Hudson on tonight's third episode of its fifth season titled "The Quarterback." Cory Monteith, who played the role of Finn, died early this year from a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol.
For weeks, 'Glee' fans - and the media - speculated about how exactly show creator Ryan Murphy would handle the unexpected passing of one the show's leading actors. Would the episode address Monteith's real-life struggles with substance abuse? How big of a role would his real-life girlfriend and co-star, Lea Michele, play in the episode? Should the show go on without Monteith?
Well tonight, all of those questions were answered - and fans were not disappointed. Gleeks took to Twitter to express their grief over the loss of Finn/Monteith and their overall feelings about tonight's farewell episode.
