Former Disney star Brenda Song is happy to be on "Dads," which FOX picked up for a full season. (Update: FOX recently changed its Tuesday schedule and now "Dads" is continuing until Feb. 11, 2014, but then it's being pulled in favor of "Glee.") That's great and all, but it's never too soon to think about the future - especially since the 25-year-old beauty is capable of a lot more than her small supporting role as Veronica. So here are five TV shows that should try and cast Song as soon as she's available.

1. The Walking Dead
Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) shouldn't be the only Asian-American in the zombie apocalypse. Season 4 is just about done filming, but AMC should cast Song in a recurring role for Season 5. If Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and company do hit the road later this season, maybe they end up in a place where Song's character has her own group. She deserves a badass role after just rolling her eyes at the boys of "Dads." Besides, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) has yet to get any action, so... she might get lucky there.
2. The Good Wife
"The Walking Dead" may be cable's darling, but "The Good Wife" is kicking butt right now on CBS. This may be the best season yet, and we can picture Song in one of the show's often Emmy-winning guest roles -- either as a troubled young woman who has to hire Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) to help her, or maybe as one of the new associates of Florrick/Agos. Or maybe she could be a new love interest for Kalinda (Archie Panjabi).
Song, as her name implies, can sing! She may not be a country singer, but she could make it work. Besides, that's why they call it acting. She could play the new fresh face on the music scene, or maybe work behind the scenes with Rayna James (Connie Britton) or Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere). Song is already rocking the fashions of "Dads" and she'd probably love the great clothes of "Nashville."
Why hasn't she been on "Glee" already? As noted above, she can sing, she's cute, and she's Disney alum so she's kind of perfect for that market. Plus, she can combine the high-energy earnestness of the Disney world with her new cynical snarkiness from "Dads."
5. American Horror Story
If Ryan Murphy doesn't want Song for "Glee," maybe give her a part on "American Horror Story." Right now, "Coven" is as deliciously crazy as anyone could want. Song would be a perfect mix for the witches brew -- or maybe save her for the Season 4, whatever that may arrive. AHS tends to cast the same actors over and over, but they add new people each time -- including Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe for "Coven." If Song gets into the mix, she could become a regular.
What do you think? Yes/no to any or all of these? What TV shows can you picture Brenda Song joining?
